EA Sports Active: A Wii Game to Get You Shape

By Jack Hueymanland

Wii Fit has been a huge bestseller! It has been hard to find the balance board anywhere for sale because it has sold out again and again. A new game that makes use of the balance board if coming out from Electronic Arts, called EA Sports Active.

The game that came with Wii Fit is similar to EA Sports Active, but Active is a much better game. The main draw is the wide range of workouts available in the game, even beyond using the balance board. For those who are bored with their included Wii Fit game, they'll really love EA Sports Active.

The features list on EA Sports Active is fantastic. Lower and upper body movement are expertly tracked. By strapping the included nunchuk-holding leg strap to your leg, you can get on-screen feedback as to whether or not you're doing the workouts correctly.

Now, any leg movements will be tracked, just like the Wii Remote tracks hand movements. You'll be able to workout with others since another strap is included in the box of the game.

Another piece of equipment that comes with it is a resistance band. This will help you with your resistance training, not needing to carry around and store heavy and bulky weights. The game is also great because it acts as your own personal trainer.

You'll be given feedback from the game, from your "personal trainer." The objective of the feedback is to help you to get in better shape and make improvements where necessary. They also track your workouts to encourage you by seeing how far you've come.

You can spend 30 days in the amazing 30-Day Challenge Mode. In those 20 days, they will try to get you to work out for 20 minutes a day doing varying exercises. While doing those exercises, you can have your calories burned tracked as well as the intensity of the workouts.

That's just a glimpse of the EA Sports Active information. Visit my site below for more features, videos with the collaborators, fitness and nutrition info, the release date and preorder information. I am so stoked about this game, I already preordered it myself. - 16004
