Hybrid Golf Clubs: The Future???

By Golf Guru Guy

No, no manufacturer has made an electric golf club that does the driving for you... yet. Hybrids in the golf realm are all the rage amongst pros and regular players alike, as they are much easier to use compared to the true iron. They are a cross between a wood and an iron, and the experts recommend it for the average golfer seeking to improve his performance.

Hybrid clubs are not as long as an iron, but not as short as a wood, either. This makes them easier to manage like a wood, but with the loft of a long iron (16 to 20 degrees or so). The lower center of gravity certainly helps, too. A good hybrid can assist a player in getting balls out of roughs, not to mention putting a tighter spin on ball to keep it from rolling too much when it lands. It helps a player become better without less practice, and what's wrong with that? Just remember that a hybrid club is completely unique to any other club and shouldn't be considered as a replacement to a club. It should instead be considered a supplement to your bag, something to use when a wood doesn't quite cut it right and neither does an iron.

I've already mentioned Adams as a manufacturer, but while they were the first on market others have answered the call as well. Companies like Nike, Ping, Taylor Made, and Callaway all have their own hybrids, and Golf Guru Guy has tested most of them. After trying many of them out, I recommend the ones by Taylor Made and Callaway as the best ones. They are the easiest to hit with, allowing me to get my ball out of the rough and onto the green every time.

Hybrids are a must for any average golfer looking to improve their score and play more like an expert. They're a hot item both in sales and internet discussions, so at least some research is warranted. Golf Guru Guy has done a lot of ior you, and if you step over to the Golf Super Sites section of the site, you'll see the manufacturers and websites that have great hybrids and offer great deals. Get one, and get to swinging like the pros! - 16004
