Shedding excess weight can be hard work. You may have even bought into any number of "miracle" diet pills on the market simply to find that you didn't get the results you were shooting for. Quite honestly, not many of those "miracle" pills do any good anyway.

The words 'easy' and 'weight loss' do not really go together. You should not kid yourself that weight loss is the easiest thing you'll ever do in your life. But it will be one of the most rewarding things you'll ever achieve. Reaching a goal or even just a small milestone can turn you into a new person.

1. Eat small and regularly No more large meals! Replace these with 5 or 6 small meals, but always have a decent sized breakfast as a good start to the day.

3. Get out of bed a little earlier simply to get some exercise. The morning is great for working out because you aren't loaded up with food or tired from your day.

4. Hydrate your body by drinking at least eight cups of water each day. It will provide energy and rid your body of harmful toxins that can make you sick or sluggish.

5. Don't shop hungry You have probably heard this one before. Shopping whilst hungry gives you temptations to buy things that you shouldn't. So try shopping right after lunch or even after diner.
