Contact Lenses Or Eye Glasses?

By Amanda Somrekli

Reading glasses are still available at the corner pharmacy. You can go in and pick out a pair of brown or black magnifying glasses for your face. Ugh! But if you really want to try for the totally cool versions, shop around.

And if you are also wearing them at home, you will want a pair that is durable, and will stand up to being transported in your purse, pocket or briefcase. A pair with a matching case would be a good choice.

If you had perfect vision before, you will need a simple pair of glasses to be worn only when reading or doing close work. You can get high-quality reading glasses from a licensed optician.

With so many styles of eyewear and eyeglasses to choose from how are you possibly to know which ones will look best over your eyes? With todays fashion savvy designers, glasses come in every style possibly imaginable. From rimless, to cat eye, round, to square, how are you to choose the perfect match?

When you're learning about something new, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of relevant information available. This informative article should help you focus on the central points.

There are a number of different things to look at when deciding to buy reading glasses. The first is obvious, do you really need them? I don't think many people just decide to get reading glasses for the fun of it, so if your reading this article you probably have some trouble reading.

Shape- Square, Oval, Round- What's right? Overall you can narrow down your selection by eliminating anything that mimmicks the shape of your face. One should never mirror the shape of their face in the shape of their frame.

The term blockhead could not be conveyed any clearer than a person with a somewhat square head choosing a rectangular or square frame. However, if this same square head chooses a round or softly curving frame some of their blockiness if counteracted so less noticeable.

Have you found it difficult to read or perform any tasks on close by objects unless of course you hold them at an arms length? Have you been thinking of going to the eye doctor but not yet done so for reasons which you think, are very good?

These half-frames, which are actually just half of the frame, allow you to see through the lower part of the eyeglass. These are worn lower down on the nose and anytime you need to glance into the distance, just look up and over the frame. Everything appears clear and there is no blurring. - 16004
