Stubborn Belly Fat? Find Out How to Get Rid of It

By Roland du Preez

Belly fat appears without any alarm bells going off and no one really forewarns you before it happens. It's only after the fact that anyone really says something to you about it and then it stings no matter how well intentioned the comment may be.

Whatever you do, don't go on a crash diet. It will make you feel hungry and irritable, and many who go on crash diets find that they soon pick up all the weight they lost.

Avoid Foods That Easily Turns Into Fat.

Changing your eating habits is only logical. Don't forget to be patient. You didn't gain all that weight over night, and you will not lose it overnight. This is about changing your habits, and eating better. Change the starches for fresh fruits and vegetables.

The fresh fruit tastes better and is better for you. The vegetables should be fresh, also. There are too many hidden calories in the canned varieties of fruits and vegetables.

Stop eating the munchies and other junk foods. All of them should be considered empty calories. They are processed foods with chemical additives that become processed into fat cells for you to carry around with you.

The first change you can make in your diet is to eat more lean meats, such as fish and chicken. If you can't give up the beef completely, only buy really lean beef. Animal fats slow down your body's ability to get rid of fat. It will clog up your systems, and all the processes in your body will be slowed down.

By changing your diet will limit the intake of foods that made you gain the fat you are trying to lose now. So consider yourself on a diet. Certain foods, such as beer and sodas, are no longer your friends.

There are a lot of good recipes to choose from on the internet. Start with looking at the Mediterranean diets. They are very nutritious and naturally low in calories. - 16004
