When you want to lose fat around stomach, you really need to invest real time, put in much effort and develop self-discipline. Losing stomach fats do not happen overnight. Though it may take some time before you achieve such hourglass body figure, it would surely all pay off - getting your desired outcome. In your struggle to attain that flat tummy, you need to decide on how much time you are going to put in. The keys here are consistency, perseverance and discipline. Consider drinking lots of water. It is also advisable to drink a glass of cold water right after you stay out of your bed to start a day. Adopt a healthy and balanced diet. Exercise without proper diet is useless that is why it is highly recommended to cut back on high-calorie and fatty foods. Cut back on sweets and junk foods and try vegetables for a change. If you crave for fries, chew a stick of celery instead. That is one good way to go to lose fat around the stomach.

Lose the sweets, forsake the meat. Experts recommend eating more fruits and vegetables when shedding those extra pounds. When you really cannot eliminate meat form your diet, make sure that they are either grilled or steamed to prevent fat build-up. Poultry and fish are also good for achieving nice abs because they are rich in protein, which is good in building muscles. As much as possible, avoid deserts, snacks, and junk foods that are high in calories. Make eating fresh fruits and vegetables a habit.

Do some compound exercises such as brisk walking, jogging, squats, bench press and other alternative crunches to lose fat around stomach. Although this would take twenty to forty minutes of your time, the results can surely be rewarding and desirable.
