Preparing Your Mind and Body For The Master Cleanse

In order to help you to prepare the mental state of your mind, it is also good to know how a typical day of following the master cleanse diet feels like. You can choose to have a serving of the master cleanse one at the time or to save you the trouble by preparing the whole day servings of 60 ounces at one time. Once you have prepared the master cleanse servings, it is always better to start the day with a laxative. You can choose from psyllium husk, laxative tea or sea salt. The reason by starting the master cleanse daily routine with the laxative is because they are more effective when you have an empty stomach.

Find your serving of master cleanse too bland and tasteless? Well, you can add some decaffeinated herbal tea into it. If you want to feel less hungry in the day, you can also add hoodia into it, but that will be optional of course. As this diet will require you to lose quite alot of water, it is advisable that you drink lots and lots of water. Good way to ensure that is to alternate between a glass of water and the master cleanse. The recommended amount of water to drink will be according to your body weight. Therefore, if you are 150 pounds, you should try to drink 150 ounces of fresh filtered water.

After the first serving of master cleanse, you can take the wheat grass for more protein. 5 grams will be the ideal amount and break up the intake of wheat grass into 2 doses. Throughout the day, continue drinking lemonade and water. Always remember that you can add decaffeinated herbal tea if you are bored with just drinking lemonade.

Remember to take another laxative just before you go to bed. As mentioned earlier, you can choose between psyllium husk, laxative tea or sea salt. Make yourself busy so that you will not be distracted about diverting your concentration on fulfilling the master cleanse diet. You may find it an arduous task trying to adjust to the new diet but once your body get used to it, you will find that it is easy to follow through the whole program.

It is always good to mentally prepare yourself for 3 days before you go on the master cleanse diet. This is to ensure a smooth transition from your normal routine to a master cleanse one.
